A revised constitution has been agreed and will be formally adopted at the AGM.

It’s been quite a year in BS3, during which we’ve supported and shared news from local activities such as the BS3 Community COVID 19 Response Group, the food banks and the Food Club.  We’ve also been contributing community feedback to the many developments that are taking place, in particular the Bedminster Green Development, and are currently working with Bristol City Council on consulting on the Whitehouse Street development.  We’re supporting Liveable Neighbourhoods, Blooming Bedminster, the BS3 Wildlife Group, and many more local initiatives which aim to make our environment greener and cleaner.

Our steering group is unique in that it includes the four local ward councillors sitting alongside representatives of the major community groups in BS3 and the Bedminster Business Improvement District board.  At the moment we are channelling proposals from the community for local spending of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) to the council and councillors. 

Post-COVID, grassroots activism, collaboration and information sharing will be more important than ever. This year we want to recruit 4 local representatives of AGB member organisations to the steering group.
